Trinket #312 - Bleeding Hearts Bracelet

I found a scrap of heart-link chain and decided to use it with some seed beads from the junk box to make this dainty little bracelet.

Trinket #286 - Big Honkin' Heart Necklace

This is a big, old, heavy bead recycled from the junk box. I added a pin, jump ring, and the ribbon necklace. Quick! I needed a speedy trinket, too, as the October frenzy seems to have gotten to my brain and caused me to lose count of my projects. Thanks to Tara for pointing out my mistake before it was way too late to correct it. I'm back on track!

Trinket #239 - Silver Hearts Pendant

So. Hurricane Irene. Yeah, that pretty much sucked here in central Virginia. We've been through worse, but playing catch-up on email, file transfers, deadlines, and blog posts after five days without power seems like a tall obstacle to clear. Anyway, here's my first trinket from Epic Power Fail 2011.

Trinket #5 - Hearts and Minds

I'll confess - I've had much more fun bending wire lately than anyone should be allowed! I made a pair of heart earrings for my daughter the other day and was quite happy with the way they turned out. I decided to take that idea and expand it to make this bracelet to complete the set. Glad I spared you from looking at yet another pair of earrings today? I thought so.

My mind likes to wander while I'm creating, as I suppose it naturally should. While I was putting this piece together, I was very amused by the idea of how each of these little links, really not much by themselves, could connect to others and make something substantial. Is this another case of art reflecting life? If so, I'm cool with that.

This trinket is made from hammered silver wire and measures eight inches, including the handmade clasp.
