Trinket #106 - Hemp and Glass Summer Necklace
That's right - another throwback. The husband and I used to make these hemp necklaces way-back-when and sell them at various flea markets and events. We gave them the name "slider necklaces" because of the sliding knots that allow the necklace to be slipped over the head and adjusted to the desired length. I still find them complimentary for wearing in the spring and summer with a favorite t-shirt and sandals, especially while behind the wheel of the old VW Bus. As they say, the more things change, the more they stay the same.
This trinket is made from Romanian hemp cord and glass beads.
