After whining yesterday about how my schedule was going to be so interrupted because of the addition of LONG classes two days a week, an idea came to me as I was falling asleep last night. Instead of toggling between morning and evening crafting, I should simply realign my patterns to evenings only. For me, this is not as easy as it sounds.
After about a half-dozen panic attacks today caused by my thinking I had forgotten to make a trinket and had broken my streak, I finally settled down after dinner and raided the junk box. These earrings were definitely a quickie. They were made from some weird little coral logs, chunky wood beads, silver wire, and silver seed beads. I'll be wearing these tomorrow whether I'm snowed in or not.
I know the first few days of evening art are going to be the toughest, but I'm willing to work for it. I hope everyone else is still plugging along and finding their best rhythm for their projects!
LOL I thought at first: Smoked Weenies? No... Halloween fingers? Noo... I think I like wood.. LOL.. beads.. that is ;)
ReplyDeleteIf I had a junk box like yours I would rename it The Treasure Box! Great creations, Beth!
ReplyDeleteAwww, thanks, Nyla! The box is not very large (it's an old fruitcake tin) but it does seem to go on and on forever. I've been working with the goodies in it for YEARS and still have quite a way to go!
