Trinket #287 - Color Combo Necklace

Supplies have been uninspiring lately, so I turned to the junk box again for today's trinket. This necklace is made from red silky cord and faceted acrylic beads in whatever colors I happened to grab. I think it turned out pretty cool for an act of desperation. In fact, I think I may make another about three times as long so I can wear it in different ways!

Trinket #273 - Envy Earrings

Yep, straight from the junk box. These faceted acrylic beads shine just enough to make them pass in a dressy situation, plus they are a fantastic shade of deep emerald green. Now I just hope I can find something just the right level of trashy to wear them with.

Trinket #196 - Orange Lily Pendant

Soooo tired, but I somehow still managed to put this little trinket. I went with a botanical theme because  I'm feeling the guilt about my poor, neglected garden this month. My time has been pulled in so many different directions that the plants have not had the attention they really need to do their best. ::sigh:: The flowers and leaf on this pendant are acrylic beads positioned on silver wire. A picture is worth a thousand words, which is a good thing because I'm out them...

Trinket #192 - Faux Ceramic Pendant

My daughter presented this acrylic bead to me last night and asked if I could make something simple with it. In my opinion, a bead this size (1-inch long and nearly 1/2-inch across) definitely needs to be a centerpiece. My solution was this uber-easy pendant with silver beads and silver wire. Less than five minutes to craft = AWESOME!

Trinket #155 - Aqua Drop Earrings

These hefty earrings were made from acrylic beads and silver wire. They are HUGE, but don't weigh much at all. Also, I love the color and can never find enough excuses to wear it!

Trinket #97 - Acrylic Trapezoid Ring

I've been hanging on to this big, chunky, weird-shaped bead for about twelve years or so. Today, I dug it out from the bottom of the junk box and gave it a place of honor on this wire ring. I'm not sure it's really me, but my daughter has happily agreed to adopt it into her collection.

I hope to be able to settle down and spend an hour or so (instead of the 10-15 minutes a day I have to spare now) on the next few trinkets. I'm wrapping up my final exam this week and will finally be able to point more of my concentration back to this project, at least for a while!
