Trinket #325 - Citrus Earrings

Not exactly a five-minute trinket, but pretty close. These earrings were made with short segments of chain, head pins, and a few semi-precious gems like carnelian, tourmaline, and moonstone.

Trinket #314 - Carnelian Loop Earrings

I picked up these simple hoops and figured they'd be perfect for another quick sick-day trinket. Yep, I was right.

Another LONG day, another quick trinket. This time, it's a ring made from silver wire and a chunk of yellow-orange carnelian.

Trinket #259 - Fall Gemstone Earrings

These beauties are made with a pair of new earring forms I picked up last week specifically to highlight certain gems. They're doing a great job here of showing off petite teardrops of carnelian, citrine, and peridot.

On a side note, I am not getting bored with making jewelry, but I am EXTREMELY bored of photographing it. In hopes of pulling myself far away from a rut, I'm going to be making a conscious effort over the next week to try and challenge myself with new and different photo techniques. Patience, please - this could be painful to watch...

Trinket #255 - Carnelian Earrings

I've always been fascinated by natural stones. I spent the better part of the day yesterday combing through gem catalogs, so today I decided to use a couple from the stash to create these earrings. This pair is made from two tumbled chunks of carnelian.

Fall still seems far away here in central Virginia, where the high temperature tomorrow is still in the lower nineties, but I'm going to be getting ready for the changing foliage by pulling out the autumn colors over the next week or so.

Trinket #253 - Pumpkin Pendant

I went in search of orange beads today that would be suitable for some "upscale" Halloween trinkets. My search was fruitless. Instead, I did find these carnelian nuggets that look okay on a help cord, but don't seem to pair well with the sterling silver. I guess I'll be spending a bit of my day tomorrow trolling through gem catalogs in search of The Perfect Pumpkin.
