Trinket #357 - Guitar Pick Earrings

I've been walking around with these picks in my handbag since September! I bought them specifically for this purpose, so I figured I had better dig them out and put them to use before the year was over.

I used a potter's pin tool to make the holes through the tips of the picks (which was pretty easy, but you could always use a really tiny drill bit) and attached them to ear wires with oval jump rings. I decided to hang mine upside down just because I like the shape better as it fits easier along the contour of my jaw.

Trinket #250 - Full Moon Flight Pendant

This is another sporadic Halloween-inspired trinket. I used a little witch charm as the focal point and added a pop of color with a disk of mother of pearl to represent the full moon. Oh, and there's one of those bazillion ribbon/cord necklaces.

I'm starting to wonder if there's something wrong with me this year. Usually, by this time anyway, I'd be working on Halloween props and decorations in full-swing. This time around, I just don't feel the spark. Not yet, anyway...

Trinket #89 - Nature's Treasure Bracelet

My brain is not in jewelry gear today and it took quite a bit of mental prodding to manage to thread beads on a wire. I must say, I'm pleased with the results even though I griped and complained the whole time I was making it. Today's trinket was a test of motivation for sure.

These are mother of pearl beads on a silver wire with a handmade clasp. The beads are Y-shaped and remind me a lot of vertebrae. Just sayin'.

Trinket #86 - Earth and Ocean Bracelet

Yet another quick bracelet for your viewing pleasure. This one is made with mother of pearl and wood beads. Too tired to say much else other than WHY THE HECK WAS THERE SNOW IN VIRGINIA IN LATE MARCH? My garden and I are not happy.
